what happens at the camp?
You will get personal coaching with Rebecca Smart Bakken throughout the 7 day week. She will sit down with you to determine your brand and some content formats for you to do. You will also sit down with the SMART team of creative music marketers where they will provide creative content ideas personalised for your brand and your release
There will be on site videographers as well as sessions to film content throughout the week. Whether we are on a boat trip, or an afternoon at the villa; content will be captured. We’ll make sure you have plenty of content in your “suitcase” when you leave the retreat
The SMART team will be present at the camp with both videographers and on site editors. This is the same team that is creating content for SMART Music Agency’s clients. Get the content you capture edited and optimized to go viral.. and ready to post
We will hold creative workshops throughout the camp where together we will come up with viral concepts to promote your music and brand. We will show several of our artist case studies and show all the behind the scenes secrets of going viral. A session that you’ll likely not experience anywhere else
Rebecca Smart Bakken and her creative team will hold several Masterclasses where you will learn everything from creating an artist brand, how to plan your release and how to use ads to boost your visibility
Join a community of like-minded musicians who are all investing in their music marketing. From all types of genres and from different parts of the world. You become a member of the SMART Club where you’lll also have access to top tier music industry experts
It will not only be classes and workshops, we will also have a lot of fun. Everything from boat trips to Ibiza superclub experiences.. we will show you what the magical island of Ibiza has to offer. Consistently throughout the whole camp content will be captured – no matter where we are or what we’re doing! (toilet breaks and sleeping excluded, obviously)
what content will i leave with?
You will get 1 piece of long form video content captured and fully edited to use in your promo period. A long form video is typically around 3 minutes and can be used for YouTube or longer IG/TikToks. For example, this can be a ‘making of the track’ video or the story behind it, etc. If you wish to film a music video or full DJ set during the camp – this will be an option for an additional fee
Instagram Reels and TikTok’s are crucial in the promo period. This is how most people absorb content these days. We will capture and edit 5 short form videos that have viral potential – where the focus is for the content to go viral – so it promotes your song while entertaining idle thumbs scrolling socia media
Not only is it important to promote your music but also to show your brand through your content. We will capture and edit 5 short form videos where the focus is for your brand to go viral and/or your followers to get to know you better
With a new single, EP or album it’s always good to get some new press shots done. You may need a new profile picture, banner art, and press photos- it’s good to have this done and ready for your next big project. Use our in-house professional photographers who shoot top tier artists all around the world
As the content we will create could generate a lot of new visitors and followers to your social media channels – it’s good to have an ‘about you’ video or interview posted.. so they can get to know you better beyond just your music. This format is perfect to connect with your superfans who will support you for as long as you’re creating music (and beyond!)
what happens after the camp?
Join our online community SMART Club. Full of like-minded musicians all over the world who are scaling up and investing in their music marketing. Have weekly group sessions with Rebecca so she can continue coaching you throughout the execution of your campaign. SMART Club also has tons of online classes that will help you with your music marketing from A-Z
Don’t worry – we won’t just let you leave the camp without any proper follow up! We need to make sure the campaigns we build together will be properly executed. So Rebecca will support you during your campaign period to help you elevate the content even further
The friendships and connections you establish during the retreat will continue after. This is a strong community of musicians who are leveling up their marketing to get their music heard – and build a fanbase around their brand. You are not doing this on your own anymore!
